Atelier

Scent is one of the few senses that reaches memory before language. These candles were made from that — the rooms, relationships, and atmospheres that stay with us. They are for independent retailers who treat home objects as considered rather than decorative.

The paintings

The labels are original watercolors, painted by a daughter. One painting was chosen for each scent.

The lettering is hand-drawn, and each painting is printed as it was made.

Made in Austin, Texas

The candles are poured in small batches in Austin. The painting is printed in full color right on the vessel and on the white gift box.
